INGREDIENTS

1 cup broccoli – cut to florets
1 lemon
pinch chilli flakes
1/2 tsp pepper pd
1 tsp Olive oil
1 flake garlic – crushed (op)
1 tbsp walnuts – chopped
1tbsp almonds – chopped
1 tbsp parsley – chopped
few basil leaves – torn
salt to taste

METHOD:

Cut broccoli florets into long pcs
Wash them in salt water
Boil water in a pan and add these florets
Cook till almost done
Strain immediately
Transfer to another bowl of water filled with a few ice cubes, to retain the colour.

DRESSING:

In a bowl, squeeze lemon juice
Add chilli flakes, pepper pd, olive oil, crushed garlic and salt n mix well
Add cooked broccoli, walnuts, almonds, parsley and basil
Toss well and serve

N.B:
You can add a pinch of chaat masala, for a tinge of Indian Flavour
