1/4 kg calamari
1 tsp vinegar
1/2 coconut – grated
3/4 tsp red chilli pd
2 tsp ginger/garlic paste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1+1 sprig curry leaves
1/2 tsp mustard seeds.
2 dry red chillies
salt to taste
Clean calamari well, remove the outer membrane and clean the pockets too.
Boil calamari on high, with 1 tsp vinegar, till dry. Remove from heat.
When it becomes warm, pinch it into rings. Keep aside.
Dry grind coconut, red chilli pd, cumin seeds, ginger/garlic paste and curry leaves. Rough grind it.
Heat oil. Season with mustard seeds, thn dry red chillies and thn curry leaves.
Thn add onions n fry till soft.
Add calamari rings and salt n fry for a min.
Add ground coconut mix and fry on low for abt 5 mins.
Remove and serve hot!!!
